I’m an L&D strategist, rethinking what’s possible for Asian STEM talent retention, development, recognition, and advancement. Today’s tech-centric business environment demands more STEM talent at a time when turnover is high, employee engagement is low, and the pipeline is thin. No business can afford to have untapped talent, and few have the resources or programs to rapidly improve skills, productivity, and results.
My passion is developing programs that result in a meaningful, visible, and rapid difference in people, organizations, and businesses. My expertise is envisioning, executing, and scaling programs for key touch points along the skill development journey.
I have over 20 years of corporate experience leading and building capability in one of the world’s largest consumer products companies, Procter & Gamble. Most recently, I led professional program development at SASE (Society of Asian Scientist and Engineers). In 5 short years, SASE Pro built a reputation as a premier developer of Asian leadership & technical talent for some of the world’s largest corporations.
at Society of Asian Scientists & Engineers (SASE):
Rapidly iterated and executed comprehensive business strategy to deliver a win-win-win proposition across SASE, engaged organizations, and valued training partners.
Built relationships with >100 Asian ERGs and >200 Asian Executives (VP+)
Increased program revenue 4x while maintaining absolute best-in-class value proposition for attendees and training providers.
at Procter & Gamble:
Led end-to-end redesign of customization operations and integration into new customer-centric warehousing network including the start-up of 6 greenfield locations, while reducing inventory > 50% and implementing 95%+ Produce-to-Order
Designed & implemented supply distribution overhaul to a Top 10 customer, reducing promotion out-of-stocks by 50%, delivery failures by 75%, and order lead time by 70%.
Identified and implemented $20 million savings program via cost reductions, strategic choices, and inventory/scrap elimination for Hair Care display business.
Other:
Leadership Team for Cincinnati chapter of the National Association of Asian American Professionals from 2013 - 2024
Overall lead for two international volunteer trips with Give Back Cincinnati's Beyond program, taking over 20 volunteers to Senegal (2019) to renovate a local health center and to Greece (2018) to support a Syrian refugee camp
Traveled extensively to 50+ countries including all 7 continents
Maintain a small petting zoo at home (/sarcasm) with ~300 lbs of animals (3 dogs, 3 cats)
Education:
Master's degree in Business Administration from New York University
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University
I have had the privilege of working up close & personal with Paraag as he ran conferences and built training programs for the Asian professional community.
Paraag has no ego. He is always open to new ideas from his people, open to feedback and is fantastic at delegating responsibility. People who work with him or under him feel like he really cares about them and that makes you want to work even harder for him.
Ultimately Paraag gives a damn. He cares so much about the community he's serving and his passion is so visible, that it sets the tone for the rest of the culture he leads.
